سرداب غیبت اس مقام کو کہا جاتا ہے جو عراق کے شہر سامرا میں روضۂامام علی نقی اور امام حسن عسکری کے شمال غرب میں موجود ہے ۔ اس مقام کے متعلق کہتے ہیں کہ یہ جگہ گرمی کے موسم میں امام علی نقی اور امام حسن عسکری کے رہنے اور عبادت کرنے کی جگہ تھی ۔روایات کے مطابق امام مہدی کو انکے والد کے زمانے میں اور انکے بعد اس جگہ دیکھا گیا ۔اسی وجہ سے اسے سرداب غیبت کا نام دیا گیا۔
